Be Sensitive

Terry Small posted a great tweet about how important it is to be sensitive. He stated that people who are sensitive are more empathetic, kinder and genuine with themselves and others.

I most certainly agree with Small. I have sometimes been told to be less sensitive but I would not be a guidance Counsellor if I was not sensitive. I have so much empathy that when my client cries, I cry too. I try to mirror what I hear and see when I am counselling.

I am most grateful and pleased that I have empathy and understanding. I was inspired by others who were great listeners. Such people steered me in the direction of counselling.

So, I challenge you to keep your sensitive nature because we need more people who are sensitive in this world.
