Be an Inspiration

This morning I read Gavin McCormack’s post on the importance of inspiring our students. We as educators have a responsibility to inspire our students. We are not vessels of information to pour into our students’ minds, rather inspirational agents who are meant to ignite their spark for learning and opportunities.

Students who ask questions are already available to learn and be inspired. Challenging students to find their own answers to their questions is not only inspiring but also empowering. I believe the quote which states, “When the student is ready, the master will appear.” We must be available to guide the students to find their spark.

As leaders in the business world we have the same responsibility. We are guides on the side, available and yet a few steps ahead of the people. It is our job as leaders to keep learning and keep inspiring our people daily.
