List Your Wants

Yesterday I watched Natalie Ledwell and Mary Morrissey talk about how to eliminate self-limiting beliefs. Natalie said the way to do this is called the Hoffman Treatment. What you do is think about an area where you’re having difficulty such as if you are trying to market yourself or want your students or children or spouse to be intrinsically motivated, or your want less clutter in your life. The way to start getting what you want is by writing down all your thoughts about what you want. Call these your affirmations. Then write all you know about what a successful person would do to get what she wants. What this excercise does is create a subconscious success imprint in your mind. Be sure to also surround yourself with like-minded people who help you achieve your dream.
