I have always loved inspiring people to become the best they can be. I believe that when we inspire others we inspire ourselves and those who witness it.
My inspiration today came from Gavin McCormack who sent me an email as follows:
“Tell me and I forget,
Teach me and I remember,
Include me and I’ll learn,
Inspire me and I’ll act.”
We all learn in different ways but I’ve experienced more success when I include and inspire others than when I tell or teach. I believe teaching is important but it requires follow up actions that include and inspire students. My method of teaching is to teach, talk together and do an action that solidifies the teaching.
When we empower people to act and practice a teaching, we involve them and hopefully inspire them to teach others.
