I’ve probably posted these traits before but cannot stress enough about how important it is to have these traits as an exceptional leader.
1. Respect- all and always.
2. Authenticity- you cannot fake it as a leader.
3. Communication – listening before speaking.
4. Humility – it’s imperative to connect to the team.
5. Accountability – to themselves and the team.
6. Lead by example – model the behaviour you want to see.
7. Empathy – to build and nurture the new leaders.
8. Care – for yourself and the team.
9. Visionary – be inspired by what the future can become.
All of the above traits are not only vital to exceptional leadership but also to ourselves as a human race.
