Thinking Classroom

A Community of learners and learning environments must use Thinking Classrooms. Thinking Classrooms do the following:
1. Create an environment that is intellectually and socially safe for learning.
2. Make space for student voice and agency.
3. Build classroom culture and learning around communal (social culture) talk and task structures.
4. Use classroom rituals and routines to support a culture of learning.
5. Use principles of restorative justice to manage conflicts and redirect negative behaviour.
How are you using a Thinking Classroom towards building a community of learners with your students? With your schools?
