I read an article in the local newspaper this morning about the people who live in care homes and how they have been isolated for months during this pandemic. They are optimistic and positive even though they are alone.
It was a humble experience, reading about their strengths and optimism. Here they are alone and still have hope and believe that they are not alone. Thanks for the reminder that we are all in this together.
I believe providence gives us these challenges to keep us humble and grateful for what we have. As much as I want this pandemic to be over, let me be grateful for what I have. Let me look for the lessons I am meant to learn. When one door closes, another opens. Let me remain humble and grateful during this time.
