Constructive Criticism Helps Us Grow

“Criticism” means to find fault or censure but also to express an evaluation of something. I believe in constructive criticism. If I am given constructive criticism in a caring and respectful manner, I can learn from it. Laurie Anderson Scherbekow wrote, “Only mediocrity escapes criticism, so please continue to criticize me, and I will use it constructively and grow from it. For me to do that, you must share it with me. Thank those who are willing to help you grow.” I certainly aim to be a life long learner and know for certain that I will make mistakes along the way. However, my goal is to learn from those mistakes.
